Supporting Nottinghamshire

Thor

  • Pug
  • Male
  • 7 Years

Thor is a confident and affectionate boy who loves being around people and enjoys plenty of fuss and attention. He has a lovely, relaxed nature and walks beautifully on the lead, making him a wonderful companion for gentle strolls.

Thor thrives on human company and will happily stay by your side, soaking up affection. Although he hasn’t shown much interest in toys during his time with us, this may develop once he has fully settled into his new home.

Thor could potentially live with calm dogs, subject to successful introductions. He hasn’t lived with cats before, but if you have a confident cat who is used to dogs, careful and gradual introductions may be considered.

Thor will need an owner who has experience with his breed or who has taken the time to research and understand his specific needs, including potential health considerations associated with brachycephalic dogs.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
