Waffle is a confident, excitable boy bursting with energy and fun. He’s always on the go, curious, playful and happiest when he’s got a toy (especially a ball!) to carry around proudly.
He’s looking for an active home with someone around for much of the day. Waffle loves company, if left alone too long, can become destructive with his toys, so he’ll do better with a family who can keep him engaged and supported.
Because he’s such a high-energy boy, Waffle needs experienced owners, ideally people who know and enjoy lively, bouncy dogs. If there is already a dog in the home, Waffle would prefer a similar-sized companion who is calm, confident and able to cope with his enthusiasm.
On walks, Waffle can pull on the lead and gets over-excited around people and other dogs. This shows as vocalising and pulling, so he’ll need ongoing training and consistent support with lead manners and social skills. His boisterous nature is very much part of who he is and he’ll thrive with clear guidance, patience and plenty of positive outlets for his energy.
With the right mix of enrichment, training and attention, Waffle will make a brilliant, affectionate family companion who brings a lot of joy and sparkle to everyday life.

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.
We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.
We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
