Bernie has a shy, timid nature and would be best suited to a family with some experience of caring for shy cats. She tends to hide when feeling overwhelmed or unsure, but once she feels comfortable and settled in her surroundings, her affectionate and playful side shines through.
When she’s gained confidence, Bernie will enjoy having access to the outdoors, as she loved spending time outside in her previous home. Her new family will need to be patient and allow her to settle in her own time, helping her build trust and feel secure.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
