Treacle

  • Domestic Short-haired
  • Male
  • 6 Months

Treacle is a very timid boy who came from a multi-cat household where he didn’t get the love and attention he needed. Because of this, Treacle is shy and unsure around people. With time, patience and kind handling, he is slowly learning that people can be trusted.

Treacle is looking for a calm, quiet home with an understanding owner who has experience with nervous cats and can give him the space he needs to settle in his own time. Treacle loves having a cosy hiding spot or a high perch where he can feel safe and quietly watch the world go by.

So far, Treacle has lived indoors, but as his confidence grows, a gentle and gradual introduction to the outdoors on his own terms could be beneficial in the future.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
