Supporting Nottinghamshire

Peggy

  • Domestic Short-haired
  • Female
  • 1 Year

Peggy came to us as a heavily pregnant stray and soon gave birth to five healthy kittens. She has been a fabulous mum, but now it’s her turn to find a loving home of her own.

Since arriving, Peggy has always found people a little challenging and is therefore looking for a quiet home with owners who have experience with timid cats. Once she feels safe, she will happily take treats from your hand and enjoys being groomed, though she prefers to keep all four paws firmly on the floor.

Peggy appreciates routine and becomes more relaxed as she gets to know you. While she may never be a lap cat, she enjoys your company, is independent and inquisitive, and deserves to be treated like the princess she is.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
