Bluey is a 1½-year-old domestic short-haired cat who came into our care after not getting along with her sibling or the dog in her previous home. She has previously lived with children and was comfortable around them.
Bluey is a confident and affectionate cat who enjoys human company. She likes being stroked, picked up, and will often sit on a lap. She has medium energy levels, enjoys toys (especially rod toys), and adapts well to new environments. She reliably uses her litter tray at the centre but has had toileting issues in the past. She dislikes being restrained at the vet.
She needs an experienced owner who can support her if anxiety reoccurs. Bluey would thrive in a home where someone is often around, with access to a secure garden. She could live with a single person, couple, or family with secondary school-aged children or older, but must be the only pet.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.
We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
