Patches is a gentle little lad with a timid nature who needs time and patience to build his confidence. When approached slowly, he responds with a wagging tail. Once Patches trusts you, he loves nothing more than curling up on your knee, he has a calm, sweet temperament and is happiest with people who understand nervous dogs and can give him the reassurance he needs.
He is still learning about the world, as he has not yet been lead trained and can be unsure in new situations. With encouragement and positive reinforcement, Patches will make steady progress. He will need experienced owners who are willing to continue his training, including house-training and help him gain confidence in everyday life.
Patches would benefit from a home with a calm, confident dog of a similar size to help guide him, with patience and love he will blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion.

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.
We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.
We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!
We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
