Supporting Nottinghamshire

Max

  • JRT x Chihuahua
  • Male
  • 1 Year

Max is a sweet and affectionate little boy with a big love of cuddles. He may be a little nervous at first but once he knows you he will happily climb into your lap, give kisses and soak up all the fuss he can get. He thrives on being the centre of attention and just wants to be close to you.

Max is still learning about the world. Before arriving here he hadn’t walked on a lead but with patience he’s making good progress. He will need experienced owners who can continue his lead training as well as support him with his house-training.

Max has been friendly and playful with other dogs, though he can feel a little overwhelmed by bigger or very lively ones, so a calm canine companion would suit him best. He would thrive in a quieter home with someone around most of the day, where he can grow in confidence and enjoy the love and stability he deserves.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
