Barney

  • Labrador Retriever
  • Male
  • 7 Years

Barney is a confident, playful and affectionate boy who loves being around people. He’s bouncy and boisterous, with plenty of energy and can be strong on the lead, so he walks best on a halti-style harness. He enjoys his walks, is comfortable around traffic and is well behaved with other dogs.

Barney absolutely loves his toys, especially his balls, happily soaking up the attention. He’s a clever boy and has already made great progress with his training here at the centre. Although he can become excitable around food, he has improved so much and is eager to keep learning.

Barney is looking for an experienced owner who can continue his training, help him stay calm and provide the structure he needs. He would suit a very active home with plenty of time for exercise, enrichment and engagement.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
