Supporting Nottinghamshire

Sid

  • Springer Spaniel
  • Male
  • 1 Year

Sid is a young boy bursting with energy and character. He can be a little unsure when meeting new people but once he has built that trust, he is affectionate, playful and wonderfully silly. He loves company and is rarely seen without his favourite stuffed duck, which helps him stay calm and focused, especially on walks.

Sid is making steady progress with lead training and enjoys engaging activities like “touch” and “find it” to channel his enthusiasm. He is sociable with other dogs on walks but needs to be the only pet at home due to food guarding. Sid is looking for an experienced owner who understands working breeds and can offer him structure, patience and plenty of daily exercise. With the right guidance and someone home most of the time, Sid will thrive as a loyal and loving companion.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
