Petal – Foster

  • Poodle
  • Female
  • 7 Years

Petal is a playful girl who loves meeting new people. Once she forms a bond, she becomes very affectionate, enjoying cuddles and happily curls up on your knee. With her lively, boisterous side balanced by a calm and gentle nature, Petal is the perfect mix of fun, affection and endless cuddles.

She enjoys her walks and likes being out and about, although she can be a little strong on the lead. Petal would benefit from shorter, more frequent walks, as longer walks may cause her some discomfort. She also enjoys pottering around and relaxing afterwards, as well as playing with her toys.

Petal is on lifelong pain relief for her joints, which she manages well. To keep her comfortable, she will need to remain on the lead during walks and have her exercise monitored.

As Petal hasn’t lived in a typical home before, she would benefit from a family with some experience, plenty of patience, and someone at home most of the time to help her settle in.

If her new family already has a dog, Petal would prefer a small, friendly male companion. With continued training, including house training, she will flourish into a wonderful companion who will bring joy and love to her new home.

Why Rehome From RSPCA Radcliffe

All our animals are under a full rehabilitation programme involving behavioural assessments and monitoring. This helps us achieve the best possible match.

We have experienced and knowledgeable staff on hand that spend time with each animal and are therefore able to give you an insight into their temperament and suitability to your lifestyle.

We have a purpose-built area that simulates a home garden environment and provides adoptees with the opportunity meet and greet their potential pet on a one-to-one basis. Similarly over in the cattery we have an adoption room where you can play and give your potential new cat or kitten lots of fuss!

We recommend that you come back and visit your new pet as much as you can to ensure it is the right one for you.
