Radcliffe Animal Centre encourages you to join us for one of our Rabbit Welfare Workshops preparing you for Rabbit Responsibility!
Owning rabbits as pets can be very rewarding, but contrary to popular belief they are not straightforward to look after. There is a lot to think about if we are to ensure they are leading happy and healthy lives.
They are one of the most neglected animals across the UK and rescue centres are bursting with unwanted rabbits, looking for their forever homes.
Aimed at children and their guardians we want to help you understand your rabbit’s needs and spread the message of why you should Adopt and Don’t Shop.
There will be presentations and hands on activity, covering health checking to hiding places, with the help and advice from our friendly and experienced team, and a goodie bag to take home.
A £15 booking fee covers up to 1 adult and a max of 2 children to attend.
All proceeds from the workshops will be used to care for the rabbits here at Radcliffe Animal Centre.
