Neil McEwen

Neil is part time and has worked at the centre for 2 years after volunteering at the Centre doing grounds maintenance for a few months.

He graduated from Edinburgh University in 1984 with a BSc General science degree.

Previously, Neil was an ICT teacher gaining QTS from University of Derby in 2005.

Prior to teaching, Neil has worked in the IT industry as a technical programmer, IT manager and web site designer.

His job is to support the centre manager on a daily basis to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the centre.

Neil has responsibility for our web site and spreading our message of Animal Welfare Education through school visits to the centre and external visits to organisations.

His favourite animal is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Max was adopted by Neil and his family from the centre in 2010
