Some of you may know that Jim is our Finance Officer here at the Centre, who is working from home during the current Covid-19 pandemic. Although valuable work is continuing, thanks to our team of extremely dedicated staff, to ensure the safety and well-being of animals in residence. The closure of the centre means that the Centre’s income has been severely, and adversely, affected, but still, running costs continue and still need to be funded. So we are making every effort to try and find ways to attract additional donations, no matter how small.
The centre is a completely independently funded charity, it receives no direct funding from the national RSPCA, and depends, almost exclusively, on public donations.
With this in mind, Jim is setting up a home bakery, making and selling bakery products (Bread, Scones, Fruit Tarts, Cheesecakes, Brownies, etc). Supplying to his neighbours in exchange for donations directly to the Radcliffe Animal Centre.
This is a brilliant idea Jim and an amazing gesture, thank you. we look forward to an update.
At a time of uncertainty and isolation we need to be even more imaginative on how we can raise funds, enabling us to deliver care and rehabilitation to all animals in need. Sadly however, as people lose lives, battle with health, and face an uncertain financial future, the Centre is seeing increasing numbers of animals needing help.
We cannot deliver this care without public support.
If you think you can StepUp & StepOut in anyway, for our animals here at the centre please email: firstname.lastname@example.org or go to our webpage for more details on how you can help: https://rspca-radcliffe.org.uk/fundraising/
