Join in with our October Hike for Hounds 2021 Challenge raising money for animals in our care.
Following on from last year’s success, we have decided to use the same format for this year’s challenge.
There is one very important change though, the challenge this year will take place in May instead of October.
The challenge will take place throughout out the month so why not set a target distance to walk suitable for you and your dog.
Then ask family, friends and work colleagues to sponsor you.
They can do this online to ensure a Covid safe process. The funds will come directly to the centre so no need for collecting and dropping off sponsorship money.

You don’t have to have a dog to take part the challenge can be undertaken by anyone with or without a canine companion.
Why not sponsor our centre dogs ‘Team Radcliffe’ as they try to accumulate 1000 miles walked during May.
Each year we have around 1,000 animals brought into our care. Therefore, we are setting a target of 1,000 miles to be walked by our centre dogs during May in recognition of the number of animals we help.
To hit our target our staff and volunteers will need to walk 30 dogs – just over a mile every day throughout the month.
We will record all the walks that the dogs take in May and add up the miles covered.
We’ll keep you updated with our paw-o-meter as we hit key milestones along the way.
Our target is to raise £1000, that is £1 for every mile walked!
